The dCS Elgar Plus DAC ($17,500.) combined with the dCS Verdi Encore transport ($17,500.00) is state of the art in CD/SACD music reproduction. DSD processing really improves older classical CDs. The smoothness, detail and soundstage are the best available and rival the analogue.   You've never heard CD/SACD's sound so good!  We have special pricing on our demo units.

The Audio Research REF CD7  player/transport  is now the best single CD player I have had in the store. It is far better than many separates that are far greater cost. On CD's it is even better that our dCS P8i and separates. It uses a top Phillips top load drive. the analogue section is very similar to the ARC REF 3 preamp with the same four 6H30 tube as that preamp. There are three 6H30 tubes in the power supply.  The sound is open and detailed without digital "bite." The sound stage is wide, deep and high. This is your final CD player.

Audio Research  CD3 MK 2 player/transport has replaced the CD3 which was Class "A"i n Stereophile  MagazineŠ. The CD3 MK 2 is greatly improved and is the "little brother" to the ARC REF CD 7 and is an outstanding  player/transport from Audio Research and competes with players far above its price range.  

The new Audio Aero Reference Capitole Reference CD player replaces the  Capitole Two SE. I first ran across the Capitole Two at very high end CES displays and was very impressed with the player. Uses two miniature tubes in the output and is a preamp also. It has the  ability to cast a large soundstage and has outstanding detail, yet has much of the smoothness we hear from analogue.     There is also a hi-end model that plays SACD's also - the  Prestige CD/SACD .

Audio Areo Prima CD player has been one of our best sellers. Resampling design with the same miniature tube output as the Reference Capitole Two, but without the preamp and has much of the sound quality of the  Capitole Two,  BUT at a great price reduction.  We believe that this CD player is the best you can bay in its price range. I sell many of them to customer with turntables.             

Acoustic Revive RD-2 was our audio accessory of the year for 2002 and is still a favorite. The new RD-3 is much better than the an the original RD-1 or RD2.  It removes "hash" in the background, CDs seem to play louder as a result of better signal to noise ratio. Improves detail, vocals and air.

Basis Turntables are made in the USA..  These beautifully crafted tables are among the best in the world in vinyl reproduction.  Their bearing are among the best available. Uncolored reproduction and easy setup.  Their Vector Model 3 tonearm is one of the best I have installed and the Vecor works well on other tables as well.  I installed one recently on a Super Scout Master. We do very careful set up on the Basis and all of our turntables is is very critical to good record reproduction.

From the Scout to the HR-X/JMW-12.6 arm combo VPI is a proven product.   Music reproduction is detailed and clean.  We have sold this product for years and have found them very dependable.  Arm installation is straight forward.  Neat upgrade potentials on most all models. The Scout series is a good value. The VPI JMW Memorial Tone Arm is offered in 9" to 12" versions.  It is an excellent arm from great music reproduction!  We also carry their record cleaners
